This is a small showcase of my primary hobby. I continuously plan new stuff and upgrade the old, and this page gets updated with some irregularity.

Anyway, here are some of my projects/inventions:

• The MCD-1 - a double CD player built from two CDRom drives, microcontrollers and PLED displays. (2003).
• The 'M250' - a 250W stereo audio amplifier (2001).
• My digital TBC / video processor (2001), using Philips and Hitachi ICs. It can convert 60Hz NTSC -> 50Hz PAL and has a number of other features.
• Homebuilt studio lighting system - ideas for studio flash gear, including light modifiers (2005-06).
• Homebuilt precision hygrometer An application for a laboratory-grade digital humidity sensor - here used for keeping the precious Habanos healthy (2006).

While the above are just-for-fun projects done on a non-profit basis. I have also done some consultancy work designing digital video circuits for commercial production, more or less similar to the TBC unit described above. Among these projects can be mentioned a video TBC/multi-channel source selector, and an LCD panel interface.
